E-bike Nivolet tour in Gran Paradiso Park
#hashtag: E-bike Piemonte – E-Bike Gran Paradiso – E-Bike NivoletThe Gran Paradiso Park is one of the most fascinating destinations in all the Alps, famous for its breathtaking peaks, pristine and unspoiled natural landscapes, and its rich and diverse wildlife.
Although the park is mainly located in high mountain areas (above 1500m asl), there are many summer itineraries to explore by e-bike, allowing you to reach 3100m while riding in a unique environment and descending on fun trails with over 1000m of elevation gain!
Our 3-day proposal, based in Ceresole Reale, will allow you to discover these magnificent places by e-bike (included in the package), and fully enjoy fun and smooth single tracks during the descent.
Tour Itinerary
We will take you to the wild Carro valley, shortly after Ceresole Reale, to Colle Leynir (3100m), one of the most suggestive places in the park, especially for its characteristic reddish sand terrain where fast single tracks lead to the Nivolet plain. To conclude with Colle Manteau (2800m) in the Aosta Valley, an entirely rideable route that allows you to cross the entire Nivolet plain by bike, offering a 360° view of the Gran Paradiso group and the Meyes valley.
You will have the opportunity to sustainably visit an area of Piedmont that is still untouched by tourism, authentic and characterized by a very varied and wild landscape especially in the upper valley, thanks to the Gran Paradiso park (the oldest protected area in Italy, which turned 100 in 2022), which has managed to protect these areas from cementification and the development of mass tourism, disrespectful of the natural environment and local folklore.
Support and Logistics
Throughout the journey, you will be accompanied by certified guides (who speak fluent English) and all the necessary logistics, so you can focus only on the scenery and riding in harmony with nature.
To fully immerse our guests in the alpine climate and mountain environment, we offer default accommodation in alpine refuges (with single rooms), and for all meals local KM0 products.
The tour is suitable for all moderately trained bikers with medium technical skills. The climb rideability is over 90%, the descent rideability is 98%. Some more technical sections can be avoided with asphalt alternatives. The maximum technical level does not exceed BC / BC / S2.
