Gran Paradiso hiking tour, naturalistic trekking in Canavese, Piedmont
This trek is a real 5-day naturalistic tour of the Gran Paradiso, which develops on the Piedmont side of the park along the ancient royal mule tracks that connect the various valleys via hills and Alpine passes, in an uncontaminated and isolated territory like few others , a true wild paradise.
Starting with our trek from Locana (Lake Teleccio) we will climb the Piantonetto valley, the scene of mountaineering and rock climbing, and then cross the Noaschetta valley (municipality of Noasca), also surrounded by imposing walls of granite until you reach the legendary Ivrea bivouac, so remote and unreachable from any side that it has only a few passages each season.
We will continue in the Ciamorassetto valley, characterized by the Gran Piano and the hunting lodge where we will spend the night, then towards the Roc valley and the Giraudo bivouac, to continue towards the Nivolet hill, passing by the Porta hill and the beautiful Lillet lake, from where the return to Ceresole Reale will begin.
A linear route that retraces the Canavese high route and the route of the well-known Royal Ultra Sky Marathon trail, one of the most beautiful mountain running competitions in the entire Alpine range.
Spending a night at the Ivrea bivouac (2770m), at the Casa di Caccia del Gran Piano (2200m) and at the Giraudo bivouac (2630m), among the most remote and isolated bivouacs in all the Alps, will be a unique and unrepeatable experience! Even if you have to know how to adapt!
Close encounters with the typical fauna of the Gran Paradiso National Park are guaranteed!
You will be accompanied by an expert hiking guide in the area, with fluent English.
The overnight stays will be at the Pontese refuge, at the Ivrea bivouac, at the Gran Piano hunting lodge and at the Giraudo bivouac (2630m). All meals will be packed and are included in the fee.
This package was designed for those who want to discover the beauty and tranquility of the mountains, for those who love nature and adventure, outside of industrial and mass tourism.
The Gran Paradiso naturalistic trekking tour Canavese Piemonte is suitable for tourists of all ages, with good training and the habit of walking in the mountains, as well as an excellent spirit of adaptation.
Don’t miss the opportunity to live an authentic wildness experience in one of the most beautiful national parks in Europe and the oldest in Italy.
