WHAT TO EXPECT:

- Overnight stays in two of the most remote Alpine bivouacs, Bivacco Ivrea and Giraudo
- All meals included (including packed lunches), featuring local KM0 products
- Guided by a certified local guide with fluent English
- Close encounters with the park's typical wildlife (ibex, chamois, eagles, bearded vultures, marmots, etc.)
- Authentic immersion in a wild and unspoiled location
- Possibility to customize the tour with additional activities or experiences, extra days, or other extras (see dedicated section)
SUSTAINABLE TOUR:
- We commit to collecting any waste found during the hike

- We choose eco-friendly accommodations and restaurants that offer local, organic, and KM0 products whenever possible
- We strive to minimize the use of motorized vehicles whenever possible
It is the least "comfortable" package we have designed, considering the 2 nights in bivouacs, but it is the tour that delves deepest into the true wild heart of Gran Paradiso National Park.
In this 5-day nature trek on the Piedmont side of the park, you will traverse the ancient royal mule tracks that connect the various valleys through alpine passes and cols, in an untouched and isolated territory like few others.
Starting from Locana (Lake Teleccio), we will ascend the Piantonetto Valley, a theater of mountaineering and rock climbing, then cross the Noaschetta Valley (municipality of Noasca), also surrounded by imposing granite walls, until we reach the legendary Ivrea bivouac, so remote and inaccessible from every side that it sees only a few visitors each season.
We will continue into the Ciamorassetto Valley, characterized by Gran Piano and the Casa di Caccia where we will spend the night, then towards the Roc Valley and the Giraudo bivouac, and onward to the Nivolet Pass, passing through the Porta Pass and the beautiful Lago Lillet, from where the return to Ceresole Reale will begin.
A linear route that retraces the alta via canavesana and the path of the famous Royal Ultra Sky Marathon, one of the most beautiful mountain running competitions in the entire Alpine arc.
Spending a night at the Ivrea bivouac (2770m), the Casa di Caccia del Gran Piano (2200m), and the Giraudo bivouac (2630m), among the most remote and isolated bivouacs in the Alps, will be a unique and unrepeatable experience! Although adaptation is required!
Close encounters with the typical fauna of Gran Paradiso National Park are guaranteed!
You will be accompanied by an experienced hiking guide familiar with the area, fluent in English.
Overnight stays will be at Rifugio Pontese, Bivacco Ivrea, Casa di Caccia del Gran Piano, and the Giraudo bivouac (2630m). All meals will be packed lunches and are included in the package.
This package is designed for those who want to discover the beauty and tranquility of the mountains, for nature and adventure lovers, outside of industrial and mass tourism.
This package is suitable for tourists of all ages, with good fitness and a habit of hiking in the mountains, as well as an excellent spirit of adaptability.
Don't miss the opportunity to experience an authentic wilderness adventure in one of Europe's most beautiful national parks and the oldest in Italy.

Technical Features:
Hikers should be capable of tackling ascents of at least +1000m and distances of around 15km on various types of terrain (earthy, rocky, stony, forested). The route may include some easy exposed and/or equipped sections that do not require special equipment or technical skills. However, they are not recommended for those who suffer from severe vertigo and/or have an unsteady gait. Upon request, the trekking program can be customized according to your level.
Accommodation and Meals
To fully immerse our guests in the alpine climate and mountain environment, we offer alpine refuges as the default accommodation option (with single rooms if available). If, however, you prefer accommodations with a higher level of comfort, feel free to contact us for a tailored offer! We will find the most suitable solution for you!
Some tours may include overnight stays in basic alpine bivouacs that lack any kind of comfort (excluding mattresses and blankets). These are unique experiences, but adaptation is necessary.
All meals are included and will be packed.
Any meals not mentioned in the description of the various stages are not included in the package price.
