Come and discover the hidden treasures of the Gran Paradiso Park with our multi-day trek to discover the four largest glacial lakes in the area. Teleccio Lake, Valsoera Lake, Motta Lake and the very remote Gelato Lake.
The first 2 lakes are artificial, obtained from pre-existing natural lakes of glacial origin through the construction of imposing dams for the exploitation of the water for hydroelectric purposes. The others are natural, and are pearls of rare beauty.

A tour that starts from the Orco valley and ends in Val Soana, reaching an altitude of 3000m, in the most authentic and remote heart of the oldest Italian park.

During this adventure, we will take you along steep alpine paths that will lead you to the discovery of breathtaking landscapes and spectacular views of the lakes of Teleccio, Valsoera, Motta lake and Gelato lake. Let yourself be captivated by the beauty of the glacial landscapes, the imposing peaks and the wildlife you will encounter along the way.

Overnight stays in alpine refuges and bivouacs, including the Revelli bivouac, one of the most remote in the Alps, for a truly unique experience and wilderness.

• Meeting in the early afternoon with the guide in Locana Canavese
• Briefing and equipment check, transfer by car to Lake Teleccio (1900m)
• Trekking to Rifugio Pontese (2100m)
• Dinner and overnight stay at the Rifugio Pontese

Technical characteristics:

Hikers capable of tackling climbs of at least +1000 m. and distances from about 15km. on different types of terrain (earthy, stony, rocky, forest). The route may have some easy exposed and/or aided sections, which do not require the use of particular equipment or technical passages, however not recommended for those who suffer too much from vertigo and/or are not sure-footed. Upon request, the trekking program can be customized according to your level.

Accommodation and meals

To immerse our guests in the alpine climate and mountain environment as much as possible, we offer alpine huts as default accommodation (with single rooms if available).
However, if you prefer structures with higher levels of comfort, do not hesitate to contact us for a tailor-made offer!
We will find the most suitable solution for you!

Some tours include overnight stays in alpine bivouacs that do not have any type of comfort (except mattresses and blankets). They are unique experiences, but it is necessary to know how to adapt.

All dinners and breakfasts are included and available directly at the refuge.
Lunches are also included and will be packed.
Other meals not mentioned in the description of the various stages are not included in the fee.

Whether you are traveling by train or by plane, the Orco Valley and Gran Paradiso National Park are easily accessible from the main stations and airports in Milan and Turin, in approximately 2-3 hours.

From Turin:
From Torino Lingotto, Porta Nuova, or Porta Susa train stations, take the Canavesana railway line towards Rivarolo Canavese.
At Rivarolo, disembark and take the bus to Ceresole Reale.

From Turin-Caselle Airport, take the train to Torino Dora station.
At Torino Dora, take the Canavesana railway line towards Rivarolo Canavese.
At Rivarolo, disembark and take the bus to Ceresole Reale.

From Milan:
From Milan Centrale station, take the train towards Torino Porta Nuova.
From Porta Nuova station, take the Canavesana railway line towards Rivarolo Canavese.
At Rivarolo, disembark and take the bus to Ceresole Reale.

From Milan Malpensa Airport, take the Malpensa Express train to Milan Centrale station.
At Milan Centrale, take a train to Torino Porta Nuova.
At Torino Porta Nuova, disembark, change trains, and take the Canavesana railway line towards Rivarolo Canavese.
Disembark at Rivarolo Canavese station and take the bus to Ceresole Reale.

Alternatively, by bus:
From Milan Malpensa Airport, take the SADEM bus to Torino Porta Susa station.
From Torino Porta Susa station, take the Canavesana railway line towards Rivarolo Canavese.
At Rivarolo, disembark and take the bus to Ceresole Reale.

By Car from Turin:
Drive towards the north ring road of Turin, take the exit to Caselle, and follow the Torino-Caselle expressway. Take the third exit towards Rivarolo/Parco Gran Paradiso (SS460) and follow it to Ceresole Reale.

By Car from Milan:
Take the A4 highway towards Turin, exit at Santhia' towards Ivrea/Aosta (E25), and at Ivrea, exit again and follow the signs to Ceresole Reale/Parco Gran Paradiso.
